Eric Lindell, Brass-a-Holics, and The Imagination Movers are among the acts to perform when Beignet Fest hits the Festival Grounds at City Park on Saturday, Oct. 7. Organizers for the festival announced the lineup for the free fest on Tuesday.
“The musical lineup is just the perfect amount of powdered sugar on top, with something for everyone,” said festival founder and event producer Sherwood Collins.
One Love Brass Band and Hill Country Hounds will also take the stage. The festival, now in its second year, makes a move to City Park’s Festival Grounds to accommodate more vendors and attendees. Last year, the festival was held at Lafayette Square.
Organizers say they will announce a complete listing of vendors and menu offerings will come closer to the event.
Organizers also unveiled the first Beignet Fest merchandise in partnership with the NOLA T-Shirt of the Month Club. Items will include tanks and tees for the whole family. A portion of the proceeds from the merchandise sales will go towards the mission of the festival – to raise awareness and funds for autism programs in New Orleans.
The free festival will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Here’s the full music schedule:
