Celebrate Easter at Bywater American Bistro

Celebrate Easter at Chef Nina Compton's award-winning eatery, Bywater American Bistro. The restaurant will be open for brunch and dinner, offering Easter specials in addition to the signature menus. Diners can enjoy the 7-minute egg with smoked trout roe, aioli, and frisse for brunch; and a tantalizing 16oz pork chop with creamed spring onions, smoked trotter jus, and radish salad for dinner. Perfect for Easter Brunch, guests may enjoy the recently introduced brunch punch - a favorite at Compton's famed restaurant Compère Lapin - featuring a daily rotating boozy punch bowl for the entire table to share ($15 per person; entire table must order). No brunch would be complete without the wildly-popular breakfast corndogs served with warm cane syrup! Signature cocktails, crafted by Head Bartender Crystal Pavlas, include the Wanderlust - Woody Creek Vodka, bubbly, bitters, mulled wine tea syrup, lime and rosemary; and the Bottled Negroni - gin, bitters and sweet vermouth, house bottled. Classic martini service with charred pickled onion petals will also be on offer. Dinner offerings run the gamut from seafood and pork, to fowl and even rabbit (a tribute to Compton's first restaurant which was inspired by her favorite story book character). Dishes, such as rabbit curry with cilantro, pecans and jasmine rice, are certain to tantalize. Desserts range from warm rice pudding with dulce de leche and puffed cereal to spiced Nutella flan with crystalized hazelnuts. Bywater American Bistro is located at 2900 Chartres Street in New Orleans. Dinner is available Sunday from 5PM-10PM; and Brunch from 10:30AM-2PM.
