Where to Take Photos with Santa This Holiday Season

We're here to help parents with kids eager to catch a glimpse of Santa during the holidays. Here's a list of places to spot Santa around the metro area and maybe even snap a photo before Christmas Day.

Celebration in the Oaks

Santa visits Celebration in the Oaks each night through Dec. 23 for photos, and Mrs. Claus joins Santa for photos on Friday and Saturday nights. Pair Santa with breathtaking light displays decking out New Orleans City Park — a sure way to get you in the holiday spirit.

Lakeside Shopping Center

Hop aboard the North Pole Express at Lakeside Shopping Center, and grab a photo with Santa at center court. Santa strikes a pose for photos Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. until Dec. 24.

Miracle on Fulton Street

Santa makes an appearance every Friday and Saturday through Dec. 23 at Miracle on Fulton Street. During the holiday season, Fulton Street becomes a world of holiday fun and cheer featuring “snow,” twinkling lights, a larger than life tree and a magical gingerbread display. Esplanade Mall

Santa stops by Esplanade Mall’s center court for pictures with kids through Dec. 24. Children can pose with Santa Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.  If you’re crunched for time you can schedule your visit with Santa by purchasing a fast pass.  Photo courtesy: Esplanade Mall

Brunch with Santa at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel

Dine with Santa and his Elves Dec. 3, 10, 16, 17, 22 and 23 at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel.  There are two seatings to choose from, one at 10 a.m. and another at 1:30 p.m.  Photos with Santa can be purchased for $15.  There will be special guests appearances by Mrs. Claus and Santa’s helpers. Oakwood Center

NOLA ChristmasFest

Find Santa at this family-friendly indoor Christmas festival Dec. 21 to Dec. 31 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Santa photo hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. except on Christmas Eve when the hours are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to a photo op with Santa, the fest features festive lighting displays and more than 70 Christmas trees. The Shops at Canal Place

The mall hosts its “Selfies with Santa” event on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. following the nearby Reindeer Run event. Score a selfie with Santa while his elves share holiday cookies. Slidell's Bayou Christmas

Teddy Bear Tea at the Roosevelt Hotel

The Roosevelt’s Teddy Bear Tea presents delicious food, specialty teas, tasty pastries, sparkling wine and mimosas for adults and a keepsake Roosevelt Teddy Bear for each attendee.
