Restaurant Shaya has added to its impressive award haul with Wednesday’s announcement of inclusion in Food & Wine’s “Restaurants of the Year” for 2016. That honor comes on the heels of Shaya being named Best New Restaurant in the country at the James Beard Awards May 2.
Among other words praising the award-winning Shaya (and co-owner Alon Shaya), the website/publication wrote, “Shaya might be the country’s best-smelling restaurant … The pita that he constantly pulls from the oven is ultra-tender and pillowy.”
