Swim with stingrays at this Gulf Coast interactive nature facility

Plan for this cool day trip, and get in touch with nature.

If you’re ever feeling out of touch with nature, a day trip to Ocean Adventures Marine Park is a sure cure. Located in Gulfport, Miss., the facility is part of the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies and provides guests with a hands-on learning experience like no other.

Guests can explore the interactive museum, and encounter several sea creatures such as stingrays, sharks, horseshoe crabs, fish, sea stars, and sea urchins.

Our friends at Gulf Coast Weekend give us an inside look at what you can expect at the facility.

Ocean Adventures Marine Park opens Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Last admission is at 2 p.m. Dolphin shows are at 10:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and  3 p.m.

General one-day pass is $14 for adults, $12 for Children (ages 3-12), and $13 for Seniors (55+) and active duty military personnel.
