Avo: Chef Nick Lama creates a special Italian menu for Valentine’s Day. It’s a four-course menu with three choices for each course. Some items include tuna crudo, charred octopus, balsamic short rib and tres leche. The price is $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
BRAVO! Cucina Italiana: From Feb. 10 to Feb. 19, the Metairie eatery has a deal for you. Starting at $21.95, diners can get a soup or salad and a choice of chicken parmesan, lobster ravioli or center cut filet.
Café Sbisa: The newly reopened Café Sbisa has a special dinner for a krewe of two including crawfish bisque, oyster roast, lobster ravioli, veal chop and red velvet cheesecake.
Carribbean Room: This hot spot at the restored Pontchartrain Hotel offers a special prix-fixe from Feb. 10 to Feb. 14 menu with items such a lobster bisque, strawberry salad, crispy soft shell shrimp, tournedos of beef and a dessert. Guests can enjoy this prix-fixe for $95. The regular menu will be available as well.
Creole Queen: Take your romance to the river aboard the Creole Queen. Dance the night away to live music while enjoying an upscale buffet, open bar and complimentary champagne. Cruising time is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the cost is $129 per person.
Fogo de Chao: Dine at Brazilian Steakhouse, Fogo de Chao, between Feb. 10 to Feb. 14 to receive a complimentary dining card. The card is valid for a complimentary lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch.
Galatoire’s 33 Bar & Steak: All guests dining at Galatoire’s 33 Bar & Steak on Valentine’s Day will receive complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.
Josephine Estelle: Ace Hotel’s flagship restaurant, Josephine Estelle has a four-course, prix-fixe menu for $75 consisting of pork belly, mussels, lobster, short ribs, black cod, dessert and sparkling wine.
La Thai: The Uptown restaurant offers an array of cocktails and menu items for this special day. Some options include tuna and kale rolls, a surf and turf combination of filet mignon and either a crabcake or fried softshell crab and a salmon Buddha bowl for those looking for a healthier option.
Mizado Cocina: Enjoy a lobster dinner for two at Mizado Cocina for $75. The dinner includes two house margaritas, eight lobster tacos and dessert. The Valentine’s Day menu is available from Feb. 10 to Feb. 19.
Morton’s Steakhouse: Start your Valentine’s celebration early at Morton’s Steakhouse. From Feb. 10 to Feb. 14, the fine dining restaurant offers a special Valentine’s dinner of steak and lobster for only $56.
Rue 127: This Mid-City gem offers a $75 prix-fixe menu with a complimentary glass of champagne.
Seaworthy: The CBD’s newest seafood restaurant, Seaworthy, invites guests to book a cozy corner for their four-course $80 prix-fixe menu.
Steamboat Natchez: Enjoy dinner and dancing under the moonlight with your loved one from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. aboard the Steamboat Natchez. The $81 price tag includes live jazz music and a delicious dinner buffet of turtle soup, braised pork shank, prime rib and salmon.
TGIFridays: During Valentine’s week, TGIFridays offers a $30 dinner for two and half-off bottles of wine. The deal is good from Feb. 9 to Feb. 14.
The Grill Room: Chef Gabriel Carpentier at the Windsor Court Hotel creates three menu options inspired by foods traditionally considered as aphrodisiacs. Think oysters, crab, grouper, filet mignon and chocolate. Diners can select from a five-course, seven-course or nine-course menu, with prices ranging from $80 to $120. Sommelier Bill Burkhart also creates an optional wine pairing to compliment the dishes.
The Melting Pot: Give the gift of fondue for Valentine’s Day. From Feb. 11 to Feb. 14, The Melting Pot offers a four-course menu for $89.95 per couple.
The Tasting Room: Enjoy a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner at The Tasting Room in the Lower Garden District. At $130 per couple, the feast includes dinner for two and a bottle of sparkling Rose.
Toups’ Meatery: Toups’ Meatery offers a four-course tasting menu for $65 with an optional wine and cocktail pairing for an additional $40. Dinner items include truffled cauliflower caviar, roasted oysters, braised Wagyu oxtail, duck leg au poivre and a dessert.
Toups South: Toups South offers a four-course menu for $65 for Valentine’s Day consisting of roasted oysters, blue crab boulettes, pureed Romanesco broccoli, pork tenderloin and a white wine poached pear. The menu comes with the optional wine or cocktail pairing.
Wayward Owl: New brewery, Wayward Owl, offers a three-course dinner on Valentine’s Day featuring food from Piece of Meat Butcher.
