Eric Clapton concert to go on as scheduled this month at Smoothie King Center

Fans will get to see Eric Clapton hit the stage as originally scheduled. The concert will take place at the Smoothie King Center Saturday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. Doors open for 7.

The three-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend will be accompanied by special guest Jimmie Vaughan.

As required by the City of New Orleans, staff, vendors and guests ages 12 and older must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours prior to event or show proof of having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Guests can present their information through the LA Wallet, digital photograph or photocopy of both sides, or their original CDC vaccination card.

Face coverings will be required at all times other than when actively eating or drinking.

Cash will not be accepted at the Smoothie King Center as it will operate as a cashless venue including all concessions, merchandise, and parking. The clear bag policy will also be in effect.
