NEW ORLEANS (NOLA WEEKEND) - It’s a New Orleans culinary tradition that’s been around for nearly two decades. Coolinary New Orleans returns to offer diners deals and help restaurants during the slower summer months.
New Orleans and Company, the city’s convention and visitors bureau, announced Coolinary’s return from Aug. 1 to Aug. 31, with restaurants offering specially curated prix-fixe menus.
This year, more than 80 restaurants join in the annual summer dining promotion rolled about by New Orleans tourism leaders to help drive business to restaurants. Restaurant goers can enjoy special two- and three-course lunch menus for $25 or less and three-course dinner and brunch menus for $45 or less.
Now in its 18th year, participants include some of the city’s longstanding and iconic Creole and Cajun restaurants as well as new places featuring New Orleans cuisine incorporating international inspirations.
Some new Coolinary participants for 2022 include Alma, Jewel of the South, Couvant and the Commons Club.
