Kenner Hispanic Fest celebrates Latin culture this weekend

Kenner Hispanic Fest postponed due to ‘health concerns and financial constraints’

KENNER, La. (NOLA WEEKEND) - Latin food, music and dance get the spotlight at the Kenner Hispanic Festival at Kenner City Park on Saturday and Sunday. Grupo Manía, La Tran-K Band, Rumba Buena, Sabor Guanaco and ManzaNota headline the 2022 fest.

Now in its 10th year, the event celebrates the rich and diverse Hispanic legacy in Kenner and the surrounding region.

In addition to music, the event features activities for the entire family, including dancing, crafts and games for kids. Festival-goers can also enjoy Latin cuisine from local restaurants.

Admission is $5 per day. Organizers say beach chairs are welcome.

However, no coolers, backpacks, duffle bags, thermoses, outside food or outside drinks are allowed, organizers say. Only service animals required for medical reasons will be allowed in the park.

Kenner City Park is located at 3800 Loyola Drive in Kenner.
