Krispy Kreme launches new line of original glazed soft serve ice cream

NEW ORLEANS (NOLA WEEKEND) - Krispy Kreme fans can now scoop up soft-serve ice cream flavors inspired by the chain’s iconic doughnuts.

The popular doughnut chain announced it’s offering Orignal Glazed Soft Serve ice cream in select markets, including in the New Orleans area. Krispy Kreme fans can find the ice cream, available in shakes, cones and cups, at its Metairie location at 825 Clearview Parkway.

The original glazed ice cream is made with “ingredients from Krispy Kreme’s proprietary and secret Original Glazed Doughnut recipe,” including its iconic glaze flavor, and whole milk, Krispy Kreme said. The soft-serve lineup includes seven hand-spun shakes inspired by fan-favorite doughnut flavors, waffle cones made with Krispy Kreme’s doughnut mix and toppings.

Original Glazed Soft Serve offerings include:

  • Shakes: Original Glazed, Strawberry Iced Sprinkled, Chocolate Iced, Lemon Filled, Cookies & KREME, Birthday Batter, and Coffee & KREME
  • Cups and Waffle Cones: Original Glazed, Strawberry Iced Sprinkled and Chocolate Iced.
  • Toppings and Inclusions, including Original Glazed doughnut pieces.

Original Glazed Soft Service shakes, cones and cups are available at participating shops during all operating hours in-shop for dine-in and takeout and via drive-thru.
