Trevor Noah bringing comedy tour to New Orleans after ‘Daily Show’ departure

NEW ORLEANS (NOLA WEEKEND) - Comedian Trevor Noah has already lined up his first major gig after ending his run as host of “The Daily Show.” Noah will hit the road with his 2023 “Off The Record” stand-up tour, which includes a stop in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre on May 12.

The South African-born host and comedian announced the 28-city tour will launch in January, just a little more than a month after his final appearance on the Comedy Central show set for Dec. 8.

The world tour will kick off with its U.S. leg in Atlanta and make stops in Austin, Texas, New York and New Orleans before heading across the globe.

Noah also returns to Netflix with another original comedy special, “I Wish You Would,” premiering globally on Nov. 22. In the special, Noah hilariously shares revelations about learning to speak German, modern communication and his love for curry.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18 at and Tickets will also be available at the Saenger Theatre box office located at 1111 Canal Street. The box office is open Monday through Friday from Noon to 4 p.m.
