Country music icon Shania Twain adds New Orleans stop to 2023 ‘Queen of Me’ tour

NEW ORLEANS (NOLA WEEKEND) - Country music icon Shania Twain adds five new dates to her 2023 “Queen of Me” tour, including a New Orleans stop at the Smoothie King Center on July 24.

The tour marks the first time fans will get to see the “Queen of Country Pop” in nearly five years, following a successful Las Vegas residency run. The newly announced dates also include stops in Bethel, New York; Canada and the United Kingdom.

Twain’s tour kicks off in April 2023 and will trek across North America and Europe. Country music artist Mickey Guyton will provide support for the New Orleans show.

The tour also celebrates Twain’s upcoming album with the same title scheduled for release in 2023.

As a leading country-pop star during the 90s, the five-time Grammy Award-winning Canadian singer and songwriter is the best-selling female artist in country music history and one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Twain’s 1997 studio album “Come On Over” became the best-selling studio album by a female ace in any genre and produced several hit singles, including “You’re Still the One”, “From This Moment On”, “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!”

Tickets for the newly added dates go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 at LiveNation.com.
