NEW ORLEANS (NOLA WEEKEND) - Wednesday at the Square, the free spring concert series in Lafayette Square, returns on March 15.

The Young Leadership Council (YLC) of New Orleans announced the full lineup for the 10-week series returning for its 16th year. The concerts take place every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. from March 15 through May 17.

This year’s music lineup features Water Seed, The Rumble ft. Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr., Maggie Koerner, Louis Michot, Galactic ft. Anjelika Jelly Joseph, YUSA, Mia Borders, The Quickening, The Suffers, Trumpet Mafia, The Iceman Special, Zita, George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, Joy Clark, Soul Rebels, Tonya Boyd-Cannon, Nigel Hall, Miss Mojo, glbl wrmng and LeTrainiump.

Wednesday at the Square features diverse local musicians, food and beverage from some of the city’s most beloved food vendors and restaurants and a variety of art vendors throughout the series. All food and beverage sales benefit YLC, a nonprofit, nonpartisan civic organization that develops leadership through community projects.

“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of the New Orleans community, which allows us to bring back this event year after year,” Graham Williams, Wednesday at the Square co-chair, said in a release. “Wednesday at the Square not only acts as an important fundraiser for YLC but also plays a key role in our city’s culture and tourism. Between our musicians, vendors, volunteers and sponsors, community involvement is what truly makes this event so unique and rewarding.”

The concert series returned in 2022 after a two-year hiatus during the pandemic. Organizers say last year’s return drew crowds of more than 40,000 people over the span of the series.
