6t’9 Social Aid & Pleasure Club’s Annual Valentine TumbleBar hop your way through the Ninth Ward with the 6t’9 Social Aid and Pleasure Club. Join the group’s annual “Valentine Tumble.” Dress in your best Valentine costume, and follow the heart shaped route through the streets of New Orleans.

Shred Your Ex at Hooters: On Valentine’s Day, Hooters offers 10 free boneless wings with the purchase of 10 for anyone who brings a picture of their ex. Be prepared to part ways with the picture, as the Hooters girls will help you shred your ex.

Anti-Valentine’s Day Party at Coyote UglyCoyote Ugly follows in the footsteps of Hooters with a similar anti-V-Day trend.  Tear up a picture of your ex in front of the bartender, and she’ll give you a free shot. The venue also boasts drink specials and games all in the spirit of anti-Valentine’s Day.

Black History Month/Valentine Film Screening: Southside with YouThe New Orleans East branch of the public library hosts a movie night featuring “Southside with You.” Based on Barack and Michelle Obama’s first date, the movie takes viewers into their whirlwind romance. Refreshments will be served. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Free Wine Tasting at Bayou Wine Garden: Sip and chill at Bayou Wine Garden’s free wine tasting on Valentine’s Day from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sample vintages from The Wine Love winery. Guests can enjoy a free dessert with the purchase of a bottle of wine.

Sense of Humor: A Dating Game Show for All Five SensesThe New Movement comedy conservatory presents this event starting at 8:30 p.m. Two local celebrity guests will need to use all five of their senses to narrow down their search for love. It’s a game show with the winner getting a date!

Storytime for Grownups: The Anti-Valentine’s Day Edition: The Mid-City branch of the New Orleans Public Library hosts a storytime event for adults with an Anti-Valentine’s Day twist. The readings here will focus on the dark side of life. Attendees must be 21 and older. Bring your own booze.

Young Funny’s Spontaneous Show: Anti-Valentine’s EditonHead to the Bywater if you need a laugh to lift your spirits. Bar Redux presents the “Young Funny’s Spontaneous Show: Anti-Valentine’s Edition.”  The comedy show will take you through the trials and tribulations of love and dating in today’s world.
