Bacchus Bash 2018: Flow Tribe, Mannie Fresh, The TopCats among headliners

Flow Tribe, Mannie Fresh and The TopCats are among the music acts taking the stage at Bacchus Bash 2018 on Feb. 11. Organizers announced the entertainment lineup today for this year’s Mardi Gras extravaganza, according to a release.

The free, annual block party preceding the Bacchus parade kicks off at noon at Generations Hall on 310 Andrew Higgins.

Category 6 and many others are also expected to perform including multiple DJs featuring DJ Wixx and DJ TAF. The popular Mardi Gras tradition that takes place the Sunday before Fat Tuesday is an indoor/outdoor party showcasing several stages, some of the city’s best local bands and great drink specials.

While the block party is free and open to the public, VIP tickets are also available for $100 each and include access to the outdoor grandstand, a premium open bar and a private indoor area with bathrooms. VIP tickets can be purchased via TheMetroNOLA.com or GenerationsHall.com.

Started in the 1980s, Bacchus Bash, the day-long celebration, always precedes the renowned Bacchus parade and offers patrons the opportunity to watch the super krewe of Bacchus in VIP fashion.
