Broadway in New Orleans announces 2019-2020 season lineup

Hancock Whitney Broadway in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre announced its 2019 – 2020 season line-up of shows, headlined by the six-time Tony Award and 2018 Grammy Award-winning Best Musical “Dear Evan Hansen.”

The new season also includes “Mean Girls;” “A Christmas Story, The Musical;” “Miss Saigon;” “Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory;” “Anastasia” and “Fiddler on the Roof.”

The Broadway sensation “Wicked” will return to New Orleans as a special season option for a three-week engagement. Based on the best-selling 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire, “Wicked,” tells the untold true story of the Witches of Oz, long before Dorothy arrives.

The 2019-2020 season begins this fall featuring a wide range of Tony Award® winners and Broadway blockbusters for New Orleans audiences to enjoy.
