The Bucktown All-Stars and Amanda Shaw are among the acts set to perform when the Bucktown Seafood Festival returns to St. Louis King of France School from Nov. 3 to Nov. 5.
Other local acts set to take the stage include Contraflow, Johnette Downing, the Box Office Giants, and North Shore all-female marching group the Mande Milkshakers.
Festival-goers can also enjoy a new food vendor lineup which includes dishes by El Gato Negro, Smoke House Grill, Bobby Hebert’s Cajun Cannon, Speckled T’s, Congregation Coffee and Windowsill Pies. Chef Amy Sins from Langlois will also host a cooking demonstration on the main stage on Sunday.
The festival also includes a “Little Shrimpers Village,” a kid’s area specifically designed for children ages 5 and under. Kids can also participate in interactive games, story time readings and inflatables in the Lorio Center.
“From new food vendors to new games for little children to engage in, this will be the best weekend in Bucktown. This is truly a wonderful event that offers family fun for everyone in the community,” said festival chair Jon Milliken.
The festival is free and open to the public. Festival hours are Friday, Nov. 3 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 5 from noon to 9 p.m.
