Build-A-Bear fans who missed their chance to score an unbelievably cute plush Grinch might still have a glimmer of holiday hope.
Build-A-Bear released the plush Grinch toys that flew off store shelves within a few weeks of the product’s launch on Nov. 1.
The retailer launched the Grinch furry friend and pre-stuffed Young Grinch, along with adorable accessories, just in time for the holidays. The collection launched in celebration of the premiere of Illumination’s “Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch.”
The Grinch furry friend sold for $25.50, and the cute Young Grinch was listed at $12.50. While both items already sold out online, you might have luck finding it in stores. However, inventory across stores may vary. Shoppers are encouraged to check with their local store to inquire about availability at that location.
Build-A-Bear says there are no plans to restock the green Grinch at this time.
Some of the collection’s accessories are still available on the Build-A-Bear site — an alternative for people who want to grinch-out their other plush bears.
The three-piece Grinch Santa suit sells for $16 online, which includes a hat, a coat and booties. A few other movie-themed accessories are also listed online.
