Build-A-Bear Workshop lets customers ‘pay your age’ for one day

Build-A-Bear offers parents a sweet deal that’s hard to refuse, depending on their kid’s age. The retailer announced its first-ever “Pay Your Age Day” on Thursday, July 12, according to a release.

If you’ve been waiting on a time to let kids build their furry friend, you’re in luck!

So, how does it work? As part of the one-day deal, guests who visit a store in person on Thursday can pay their current age for any Make-Your-Own furry friend available in the store. The limit is one per customer, and the offer doesn’t include outfits, sounds, accessories or scents.

The company says everyone is welcome to take part in the “Pay Your Age Day” deal, regardless of age, as long as they are present in store that day.

There is a very small catch: To score the deal, customers over age 18 must enroll in the complimentary Build-A-Bear Bonus Club rewards program. Customers can sign up for free at the Build-A-Bear website or in person at their local store. If you’re not a member you can still join for free here.

Parents and guardians over the age of 18 are allowed to pay their child’s age for the toy, as long as the kid is present at the store. You can get the lower price by signing up the young guest. with The most you will pay for a stuffed toy is $29, and the least is $1.
