BUKU Fest announces lineup for ‘BUKU: Planet B’ festival alternative in October

Megan Thee Stallion, Illenium, Machine Gun Kelly and Playboi Carti top the lineup for BUKU: Planet B, a one-time festival alternative for BUKU Music + Art Project, on Oct. 22 – 23.

Organizers announced the lineup for the festival taking place at the Market Street Power Plant along the Mississippi River in New Orleans.

More than 50 acts are slated to perform at the diverse and eclectic festival known for showcasing artists in hip-hop, EDM, R&B and the indie music scenes.

Other artists scheduled to perform include Playboi Carti, Kaytranada, Zeds Dead, Alison Wonderland, Jamie xx, Pooh Shiesty, Chris Lake, Still Woozy, EARTHGANG, Ghostemane, Ashnikko, Subtronics, SVDDEN DEATH: VOYD, Arlo Parks, Flo Milli, LSDREAM, Purple Disco Machine, Remi Wolf, slowthai, $NOT and Yung Baby Tate, among others.

Continuing its melting pot approach to curation, BUKU: Planet B welcomes a lineup that spans genre and style. BUKU: Planet B will also feature more than 20 local New Orleans to support the local arts community, including the first festival performance by Pell’s GLBL WRMNG collective.

“For the past year, we’ve watched our fans step outside of their comfort zones and persevere through weird times,” said Dante DiPasquale, BUKU’s co-creator.  “PLANET B is the result of us being inspired by them to do the same, and all of us at Team BUKU are excited to finally party with them again.”
