Copper Vine, the popular wine pub in the Central Business District, announced its launching new private wine tasting experiences this summer.
The restaurant says the new experiences guide guests through a private course dinner or wine tasting featuring hand-selections from regions around the world.
Sommelier Lydia Kurkoski and executive chef Amy Mehrtens collaborate for the wine selections and tasting pairings with more than a dozen tasting themes. Each experience features a unique mingling of cuisine and wine, curated specifically for each guest.
During the private wine tastings, one of Copper Vine’s wine experts will guide guests through the vineyards, varietal characteristics and innovative cellar practices surrounding some of the best wines in the world. Tastings are hosted in one of the restaurant’s intimate dining spaces and can be private or semi-private for groups with a minimum of four guests.
The themes include California Pinot Noir, Rhone Valley Reds, Light Reds, Rosé Around the World, Sparkling Wine, Interesting Whites, Natural Wine, Spanish Reds, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, New World California Sauvignon and Pinot Noir of Burgundy.
Packages for the wine tastings start at $35 per person, with options to add tasting pairings for an additional charge.
For an even more private experience, Copper Vine will also launch private wine dinners.
Each dinner features a custom, coursed menu with carefully chosen wine pairings. The sommelier will curate the experience to match guests’ tastes and preferences while highlighting unique and interesting wines from around the world. These private meals can be booked for groups of eight to 50 people.
