Here’s a list of restaurants offering special menus for Valentine’s Day dining in New Orleans

With Valentine’s Day falling during Carnival, the thought of making plans could easily slip through the cracks. If you’re still trying to make special Valentine’s Day dinner plans, we’re here to help.

Several local restaurants are offering special menus to make dining out even easier. Make sure to call for more details and check for availability.

Here’s a look at some restaurants in the New Orleans area offering Valentine’s Day menus or specials:

Jack Rose

Don’t have a date for Valentine’s Day? No problem. Grab your girls for a Galentine’s Day dinner at Jack Rose, the culinary crown of the Pontchartrain Hotel on Thursday, Feb. 13. Diners can select from Chef Brian Landry’s dinner menu, along with specialty brunch items. Featured brunch items include the glitter chicken and waffles, Wagyu flank steak and eggs, crawfish and grits and the Mile High Pie waffle. Toast to the gang with Veuve Clicquot Bottle Specials (Yellow Label $50; Rosé $65). Reservations are encouraged. Dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Fountain Lounge

The Roosevelt New Orleans‘ signature in-house restaurant, The Fountain Lounge, offers a prix-fixe Valentine’s Day menu to make dining decisions easy. Their traditional “Share the Love” menu offers a Tuna poke stack, crispy oysters and pork belly, prime beef with cold water lobster and chocolate dipped strawberries for $125 per couple. Went vegan for the new year? For the same price, the restaurant offers a vegan menu with options like crispy brussel sprouts and grilled vegan sausage. Both menus include a select complimentary glass of sparkling wine for you and your loved one.

Ralph’s on the Park

Ralph’s on the Park, one of City Park’s vibrant eateries, features its own three-course Valentine’s Day menu, available from Thursday, Feb. 13 through Sunday, Feb. 16. Main course options include a choice of Grilled Filet Mignon or Seared Nantucket Scallops. Menu pricing is $85 with suggested wine pairings or $65 without wine pairings.

The spot also hosts a Galentine’s Day happy hour on Feb. 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This special will include a Champagne flight with bubbly by Perrier-Jouet, Dumangin and Mumm Brut Rose (also available during lunch and dinner), their signature French Kiss cocktail composed of pineapple and raspberry-infused vodka, $3 craft beer and $5 snacks and select wines by the glass.

Palmettos on the Bayou

Palmettos on the Bayou plans a four-course romantic dinner on Valentine’s Day. Main course entrees include a choice of smoked prime rib, paneed chicken bonfouca, pan seared Gulf fish, seared scallops or pork osso bucco. Seatings will be available between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Jessica Meltz will be playing romantic melodies on her harp at the Slidell restaurant. Dinner reservations are $59 per person.

Zea Rotisserie & Bar

Zea Rotisserie & Bar offers a special Valentine’s dinner menu at Louisiana locations the entire week of Feb. 8 to Feb. 16. The $49.99 prix-fixe special includes an appetizer, two salads and two entrées accompanied by a wine special. Balsamic salmon and rotisserie beef sirloin are a couple of the featured items. The deal doesn’t stop there. The Valentine menu will become the official Date Nite menu at Zea every Wednesday starting on Feb. 19.

Barrel Wine Bar

Barrel Wine Bar in Covington features a light and easy three-course meal with wine pairings to share with your sweetie or your bestie. Menu options include baked brie, a charcuterie board, crawfish etoufee with tossed salad, chocolate mouse or cheesecake. The prix-fixe menu is $80 per couple or $40 for singles. Reservations are recommended, and seating is limited.


For the pasta loving pair, Italian staple Avo offers a four course menu available only on Friday, Feb. 14. The $67 menu, only offered that day, includes dishes such as cacio e pepe fettuccine, grilled redfish and a signature Coppetta “Italian Sundae,” for your sweet tooth, with vanilla and pistachio gelato, chocolate crunch, butterscotch and fudge sauce.

The Windsor Court

The Windsor Court Hotel invites guests to celebrate the season of love with a specialty menu created by The Grill Room. The four-course Valentine’s Day menu features dishes like crab meat ravioli, coconut lobster bisque and seared scallops with risotto and truffle butter. From 5:30 p.m to 10 p.m., the special goes for $95 per person with an optional $50 four-course wine pairing with wines from Austria, France and Germany, among others.

Jewel of the South

Not feeling the love? Head over to the French Quarter’s Jewel of the South for an Anti-Valentine’s Day feast. Chef Philip Whitmarsh has crafted a six-course, prix-fixe dinner menu priced at $95 per person available on Friday, Feb. 14. Some dishes include blood boudin with a brussels sprout slaw and roast chicken with liver toasts, garlic and fried sunchoke.

Dakota Restaurant

The Dakota Restaurant features a special $65 Valentine’s tasting menu on Friday and Saturday. Some of the items include crabmeat and brie bisque, Oyster Rockefeller, Pontchatoula strawberry salad, petite filet mignon, among other items. Full table participation is necessary for the tasting menu. The contemporary restaurant in Covington also offers an a la carte menu featuring items like brozed redfish amandine, olive-oil poached salmon and maine lobster pot pie.

Bywater American Bistro

Romance is in the air at Bywater American Bistro. This casual, yet energetic, joint presents a $75 per person four-course V-Day menu with an optional $40 wine pairing. Start your night off with their hamachi tartare and end with a decadent champagne semifreddo with dark chocolate mousse and strawberry granita.

Keith Young’s Steakhouse

Diners can enjoy a four-course Valentine’s dinner at Keith Young’s Steakhouse in Madisonville. Priced at $64 per person, entree menu options include a filet, ribeye, broiled refish, beef short rib, roasted quail or twin lobster tails.

Audubon Supper Club

Flamenco with the flamingos this Valentine’s Day at Audubon Supper Club. For one night only, guests will be greeted with cocktails in Goldring Plaza and proceed to the Jerome S. Glazer Audubon Tea Room, featuring entertainment by Jaiver Orlando and AsheSon as well as Peña Flamenca La Pepa. Tickets for the Feb. 14 dinner are $125 each for Audubon members or $135 each for non-members, plus tax. Seating is extremely limited.

The Country Club

Head to The Country Club with that special someone for a Valentine’s Sweetheart Dinner for two. For $60 per couple, you can feast on crabmeat beignets and a pan roasted 20-ounce ribeye for two with brown butter and herbs, duck fat Lyonnaise potatoes, roasted garlic and king oyster mushrooms. The regular dinner menu will be available as well. Limited seating is available, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Toups’ Meatery

Impress your carnivorous Valentine with Toups’ Meatery and its contemporary Cajun dishes. Valentine’s Day specials feature dinners of rack of lamb, bone marrow, and scallops, all encompassing indigenous flavors of Louisiana. Dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

LOLA Restaurant

Toast to a special Valentine’s Day with the one you love. Celebrate your evening at LOLA Restaurant in Covington. The spot offers three-course dinner for $75 per person. Main course entrees feature a choice of cripsy pork loin, bronzed gulf fish, gulf shrimp and grits or Korean BBQ flank steak.

Copper Vine

Sweep your Valentine off their feet at Copper Vine – New Orleans’ destination for wines and eclectic eats. In addition to the regular a la carte menu, the restaurant will offer oysters on the half shell served with mignonette for $9. Make your way to the Central Business District for dinner Sunday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Bijoux at Le Pavillon

There’s no need to travel to Paris when you can dine at Le Pavillon’s romantic French-style restaurant, Bijoux. In addition to a special four-course meal, the restaurant celebrates the hotel’s history of offering a complimentary traditional PB&J snack served nightly in the lobby for guests to enjoy by ending the dining experience with a peanut butter and jelly torte. The Valentine’s Day menu is $80 per person.

Compère Lapin

Compère Lapin, located in The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery, offers a four-course, prix-fixe menu priced at $85 per person on Valentine’s Day. Enjoy romance while swooning over a romantic dinner with menu items like tagliatelle with oyster mushrooms and black truffle and scallops with sunchokes and brussels sprouts.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

This Valentine’s Day, you won’t have to worry about dinner or a gift. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar has partnered with David Yurman to provide an all-inclusive experience including a three-course dinner for two, premium champagne and a special gift. “Wine, Dine & Sparkle” packages are available from Feb. 12 to the Feb. 15 priced at $500 or $1,000. Pyre Provisions

Heat up your heart at Pyre Provisions alongside their classic wood fire oven. Their three course specialty menu features a wood roasted beet salad topped withfried goat cheese, a prime six ounce steak fillet, and molten lava cakes. Enjoy a complimentary champagne flute to celebrate this special occasion.

Otra Vez

Who wouldn’t fall in love over tacos and guac? Otra Vez offers a $55 per person prix-fixe option with complimentary bubbles to start the meal. Make the difficult decision of guacamole or queso fundido for your appetizer, followed by skirt steak, branzino, or cauliflower tacos. End with cinnamon sugar churros or a Mexican chocolate brownie. In addition, bar and taco menus will also be available a la carte.
