IHOP is giving away free pancakes for National Pancake Day

More butter please! You can get free pancakes at any IHOP on March 12 for National Pancake Day!

Like our friends in the video above said, “Put it in your pancakin’ calendar.” Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (10 p.m. at some locations), you can order a short stack of buttermilk pancakes at the restaurant chain. What would normally cost you $5 will be free on March 12.

In return, IHOP asks that you consider making a donation of any kind to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Shriners Hospitals for Children.

For every order of “OREO Oh My Goodness!” pancakes between now and April 14, IHOP will donate $1 to the Free Pancake Day charities. This special winning pancake recipe was submitted by Brody Simoncini who was awarded IHOP Kid Chef. It includes four buttermilk pancakes with Oreo cookie pieces inside and cupcake icing, whipped cream and more Oreo pieces on top.

IHOP has raised more than $30 million for children’s charities since starting this annual fundraising tradition.

So save the date, the chance for free pancakes is near!
