Jefferson Parish Residents Get Half-Priced Admission at Audubon Nature Institute This Saturday

Jefferson Parish residents can take advantage of discounted entrance fees during “Jefferson Parish Appreciation Day” at the Audubon Nature Institute on Saturday, Sept. 23.

The Audubon Nature Institute gives its neighbors half-off admission to the Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and the Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium. The offer is only good on full-price tickets for both Jefferson Parish residents and Jefferson Parish government employees regardless of residency. This deal comes as a result of a grant from Jefferson Parish.

Residents must bring a photo ID showing a Jefferson Parish zip code and government employees must show proof of employment in Jefferson Parish.

Saturday, September 23, is also Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day Live! which allows patrons into the Audubon Insectarium for free.

Visit Audubon Nature Institute’s website for more information.
