The Broadway show features both original songs and beloved Jimmy Buffett classics. Casting and a full tour route will be announced in the coming days.

“I’ve been waiting to sing Margaritaville on Cinco de Mayo, and speaking of Margaritaville,” Buffett said from the Jazz Fest stage, “if you weren’t able to catch Escape to Margaritaville at the Saenger a couple years back, well guess what – it’s coming back to the Saenger next summer, July, 2020.”

“ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE” launched its three-city, pre-Broadway tour at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans on October 20, 2017 before making its Broadway debut at the Marquis Theatre in New York on February 16, 2018.

With a book by Emmy Award winner Greg Garcia (“My Name is Earl,” “Raising Hope”) and Emmy Award nominee Mike O’Malley (“Survivors Remorse,” “Shameless”), “ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE” is the musical comedy featuring both original songs and Jimmy Buffett classics, including “Fins,” “Volcano,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and many more.
