Local theater hosts Oscar-nominated movie screening before the awards

AMC Theaters is offering a two-day event where movie-goers can binge every film nominated for Best Picture on Feb. 16 and Feb. 23.

Get your glam on and grab some popcorn, because we are going to the Oscars! Well, not really. But close enough.

New Orleans-area residents can see the films at the AMC Elmwood Palace 20.

The seven films will be shown over the two different Saturdays.

The featured movies include:

  • The Favorite
  • BlacKKKlansman
  • Bohemian Rhapsody
  • Vice
  • Black Panther
  • A Star is Born
  • Green Book

The Favorite, BlacKKKlansman, and Bohemian Rhapsody will be shown at 11 a.m. on February 16.

Vice, Black Panther, A Star is Born, and Green Book will be shown at 11 a.m. on February 23.

Tickets for both days are on sale now.
