The Quality Deer Management Association, the national leader in deer hunting and education, will hold its convention in New Orleans at the same time as the Louisiana Sportsman Show. This offers an added benefit for attendees. The association will send some of the biggest outdoor celebrities and most accomplished hunters and anglers in the world to host educational seminars and greet show attendees.

Organizers say teaching the youth about the outdoors will also be a key part of the event. There will be activities, seminars and contests for children throughout the weekend, and the Fetch-N-Fish display will offer entertainment for the whole family.
