Mambo’s brings Bourbon Street its first rooftop bar

Mambo’s, a new restaurant from the owners of Oceana Grill, brings Bourbon Street its first rooftop bar. The new spotĀ at 411 Bourbon Street, is a Cajun-Creole restaurant boasting “laid-back Louisiana front-porch” vibes.

Guests can now complete their next happy hour with a beautiful view overlooking the French Quarter.

With a new rooftop bar on the only on Bourbon Street, the space seats 50 with a panoramic view for you and your friends. The addition has the same rustic, historical ambiance as the floors below packed with enough local artwork to fill a gallery.

And the menu, you ask? Mambo’s is most famous for their signature crab cakes loaded with plump crab, lightly fried and topped with a spicy crawfish and mushroom cream sauce. It makes for a perfect combo with the cocktail you’ll order while overlooking Bourbon.

Appetizers include gator tail bites to the classic spinach dip. Grab a burger or poboy from the dinner menu if you’re a simple kind of guy. Feeling fancy? Try a main dish: Blackened Rib-eye with mashed potatoes and collard greens. And there’s even something for the oyster lovers too. Check out the full menu.

Mambo’s is open daily from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and the rooftop bar is open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
