After a sold-out series that launched this summer, the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience (NOWFE) announced it will continue a series of wine dinners at local restaurants this fall.
The socially-distant wine dinners will pair-up restaurants and wineries from Oct. 2 to Nov. 4.
Participating restaurants include Brennan’s, Gianna, Boucherie, Copper Vine, Tableau and Brasa Churrasqueria. For this round of dinners, Rombauer Vineyards, Daou Vineyard and Winebow Fine Wine and Spirits are among the participating winemakers.
“Our summer wine series was a huge hit and both our locals and restaurants are asking for more,” said Aimee Brown, NOWFE Executive Director. “We know that our industry is still struggling during these unprecedented times, but it is our hope that by supporting each other we can keep more doors open and more people employed. And coming together for a shared meal and a few glasses of wine brings a sense of community and normalcy to everyone.”
NOWFE initially launched the socially-distant experience in July as a creative solution after postponing the annual festival due to the pandemic.
Here is the current schedule for the NOWFE fall wine dinner series:
