The New Orleans Wine and Food Experience (NOWFE) is this weekend, and once again the festival has a wealth of fun events for people to take part in. We've parsed through the schedule to come up with our own guide to the event. Enjoy!
A wide range of special, intimate dinners are available at area New Orleans restaurants … and by available, we mean they’re not yet sold out with mere hours to go. Each restaurant is paired with a unique winery for a special experience. Prices vary from $95 up.
There’s no denying this is one of the experience’s top events every year, and for good reason. Delicious food and wine samples accompany shopping, art showings, and the “stroll” itself … a lovely walk down one of the French Quarter’s historic avenues Friday night. Unpackaged admission is $109.
NOWFE culminates with an event showcasing the finest wines from around the world alongside amazing food served up by the city’s best chefs. This Saturday event has a new location this year at Mardi Gras World. Unpackaged admission is $119.
If you’re looking for an educational experience sign up for one of the many seminars or hands-on experiences such as the Hook, Wine and Dine – a fishing trip combined with experts cooking your catch later that evening. Prices once again vary.
