In New Orleans, there’s no shortage of restaurants for food lovers to enjoy, and now we’re making way for a new one in the Uptown area in Spring 2020.
Hotel Chloe, a forthcoming Uptown hotel inside a historic Queen Anne-style mansion, will also be home to a new signature restaurant called The Parlor. Its menu will feature contemporary interpretations of classic New Orleans flavors and ingredients, as well as globally-inspired dishes that are informed by the rich cultural, artistic, and historical touchpoints of the neighborhood.
LeBLANC + SMITH, the hospitality group behind restaurants and bars Sylvain, Cavan, Longway Tavern, Meauxbar, and Barrel Proof, is delighted to bring its first hotel concept to New Orleans. Hotel Chloe is a 14-room boutique hotel that will focus on creating culturally relevant experiences through a distinguished food and beverage program, timeless design, and excellent 21st-century Southern hospitality.
Led by Executive Chef Todd Pulsinelli, The Parlor will open as a 120-seat restaurant, with guest tables in the mansion’s main dining area and alongside the pool and gardens.
“I’m humbly inspired to work alongside such a remarkable team behind The Parlor,” says Hotel Chloe Executive Chef Todd Pulsinelli. “Our goal is to evolve New Orleans cuisine and push the boundaries of Southern food.”
The breakfast menu will feature crave-able dishes such as Grilled Sourdough Avocado Toast, Shrimp and Grits, Buttermilk Griddles Cakes. Yum! Is your mouth watering yet? During breakfast, pastries from Molly’s Rise and Shine will be offered daily.

For dinner, guests can dig into a balance of homespun flavors with a sophisticated global approach and will feature ever-changin dishes, like Louisiana Rabbit and Dumplings, Coriander and Juniper-Crusted Hanger Steak, Home Place Pastures Pork Cheeks, Muffaletta Egg Rolls and a Chicken Katsu Sandwich.
The menus are rounded out with a well-curated beverage program led by Beverage Director Jason Sorbet. The wine offerings will be expansive yet accessible and will be a primary driver of Hotel Chloe’s daily programming.
“Todd’s belief in our vision for Hotel Chloe to be a lobby in Uptown New Orleans where everyone feels at home while also accenting all of the cultural touch points of our neighborhood was a huge validator for us. He’s incredible from a culinary standpoint but, more importantly, his joie de vivre fits in perfectly with Hotel Chloe’s belief that each day should be joyful,” says LeBLANC + SMITH Founder Robért LeBlanc. “We are fired up that Todd will be leading The Parlor both because his love for food and people will be evident in each dish and because he, too, believes that all people should lead joyful, fulfilling, balanced, and memorable lives.”

Guests will be able to indulge in great southern food while relaxing in an ambiance that can’t be matched. World-renowned New Orleans designer Sara Ruffin Costello is behind the restaurant’s interiors. Costello has created a bohemian getaway for the property, featuring antiques, old pictures and curios amassed over hundreds of years and purposefully blended with the contemporary.
Located at 4125 St. Charles Avenue, The Parlor will open to the public in spring 2020, alongside the opening of the hotel.
