Oreo releases cream-filled Chocolate Candy Eggs for the holidays

One of the reasons we love holidays is for the sweets that get released during the season.

Thanks to Oreo, Chocolate Candy Eggs is something new to scan stores aisles for during your next grocery trip. Oreo released the new item just in time for the holidays.

Not to be confused with Cadbury’s signature candy, these chocolate spheres are filled with Oreo’s vanilla creme and have speckles of crunchy chocolate cookie bits.

The treats are sold five to a pack and can be found in Walmart stores or online for $3.48.

Foodies have already started posted their opinions about their newly found snacks to social media:

Instagram user @misstx_fitfoodie had this to say about the treat: “Snagged these @oreo Creme Filled Eggs from @walmart holiday candy section. Take the Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme bar and throw it into the middle of some chocolate coating – boom… you’ve got these eggs. The solid consistency of the creme wasn’t quite what I was expecting given the picture and well, the term ‘creme’ — but the flavor was good. They weren’t bad, but nothing WOW either.” Overall, the user gives it a 7 out of 10 rating.
