Prytania Theatre Hosts Free Classic Horror Movies Every Sunday in October

Prytania Theatre will host free screenings of classic horror films every Sunday during the month of October as part of the theatre’s “Spine Chilling Sundays” series, according to a release.

Classics like “House on Haunted Hill and “Nosferatu” are just a few of the films that will be screened during the free horror movie series.

Before scary movies were about creepy clowns and possessed dolls, vintage classics starred actors like Vincent Price and Bela Lugosi. If you never had an opportunity to see these classic horror films, now is your chance.

The 100-year-old Prytania Theater has a concession stand and a coffee and ice cream bar. However, patrons are also allowed to BYOB. How’s that for a deal: Free movies. and you can bring your own booze!

October 1 – House on Haunted Hill

October 8 – Carnival of Souls

October 15 – White Zombie

October 22 – Dementia 13

October 29 – Nosferatu

All films begin at 10pm.
