Saints fans, wanna ‘Hit the Sean Payton’ in the song’s new music video?

Just in time for the start of football season, local musician Shamarr Allen wants fans to ‘Hit the Sean Payton,’ this time for his official music video.

Allen is looking for extras to appear in the music video for the popular Saints-themed song, according to a release.

The rap was inspired by Sean Payton’s sweet moves captured in a video by Alvin Kamara after the Saints defeated the Carolina Panthers last season.

The video taken during a locker room celebration went viral. A group of kindergartners at Green Park Elementary School in Metairie also posted their version of the dance, which also took the internet by storm.

Now, Allen is giving fans the chance for their moment in the spotlight.

Fans interested in participating in the video are asked to show up in Jackson Square on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 5 p.m. wearing black and gold, the release says.

“Hit the Sean Payton” will be featured on Allen’s new album, “True Orleans,” set to release on Friday, Sept 21.

The trumpet player is also set to perform at the National Fried Chicken Festival along with his band on Saturday, Sept. 22. Shamarr Allen & The Underdawgs will close out the main stage at 7:30 p.m.
