Fans are invited to attend the “Saints Nation Season Kickoff Pep Rally” set for 2 p.m. on Fulton Street.

The creators of last year’s Boycott Bowl, Walter “Kango Slim” Williams and Brandon Rizzuto, are behind of the new event for Saints fans. Last year, the local Who Dats worked up plans to launch a music festival boycott as a response to the crushing no-call during the Saints’ NFC Championship game.

Choppa Style, Kermit Ruffins, PNC and the Big EZ Band, Angela Bell, Cupid, Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes, Rockin Dopsie Jr., J and the Causeways, Big 6 Brass Band, DJ Slab One, and DJ Mig are among the acts scheduled to perform.
