Royal wedding bells are ringing – in New Orleans! So pull out your fanciest of fancy, because you’re invited –figuratively.

Of course, you can watch all the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wedding festivities at home, with broadcast networks offering live coverage of the wedding. We also found some venues around the greater New Orleans area that will show the grand event.

AMC Elmwood Palace 20

A theatrical presentation of ITV’s Royal Wedding coverage is coming to select theaters, including the AMC Elmwood Palace 20 in the New Orleans area on May 19. You can buy tickets for a 10 a.m. showing. There is also one more Louisiana showing at Cinemark Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge.

“Share all the moments of Harry and Meghan’s grand celebration, commercial free, with your friends, family, and neighbors, BritBox and Fathom Events posted. “This marks the first time ever that the Royal Wedding will be featured in select cinemas.”

Polo Club Lounge at Windsor Court

Anglophiles seeking to commemorate Harry and Meghan’s special day can also book reservations for the exclusive Royal Wedding Watch Party from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Polo Club Lounge. The watch party includes a British-inspired breakfast menu, bottomless mimosas, mid-morning tea service and sweet treats inspired by the couple’s official lemon elderflower wedding cake from Pastry Chef Clair Ptak, of London’s Violet Bakery. The cost is $60, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required by calling 504-596-1994.

The Windsor Court also offers a more family-friendly celebration of the British nuptials with a Royal Tea in Le Salon. The regal event features royal décor, including life-size, cardboard cutouts of Meghan, Harry and the Queen, plus miniature Victoria and lemon-elderflower cakes and corgi-shaped cookies. There are two tea times at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $49.12 for adults and $35.84 for children, inclusive of tax and gratuity. Reservations are required by calling 504-596-1994.

The Avenue Pub

The St. Charles Avenue 24-hour bar hosts a “When Harry Met Meghan” Royal Wedding Celebration commencing at 6 a.m. Avenue Pub will feature English-style brews for the special occasion, including champagne for breakfast mimosas and wedding toasts. The pub encourages celebrating in “proper fashion” with party inspiration including fascinators, American and British flags or royal couple masks.

“Party people of this fine city, Let us join Let us join together to celebrate the beginnings of America’s steady takeover of the British crown,” the event post said via Facebook. We’re sure it’s all in good, clean fun.

The Crown and Anchor English Pub

If you can’t wake up for the early morning nuptials, The Crown and Anchor English Pub wants to help catch some extra Z’s. The Algiers Point pub will host a replay of Harry and Meghan’s wedding starting at 2 p.m. Join the bar for a royal afternoon tea…without the tea, according to a Facebook post about the event. The post also says the pub will offer drink specials.

The English Tea Room

Over on the North Shore, The English Tea Room is all about everything British. Owner Tim Lantrip says guests can get a free slice of wedding cake to celebrate the event. They will also offer a Royal Wedding High Tea. Lantrip says will have live streaming of the wedding on a big screen TV. Guests are encouraged to dress fit for the Queen. Unfortunately, the tea room is fully booked at the time on Saturday, but call for cancellations.
