Grocery stores offering special ‘seniors only’ hours during COVID-19 pandemic

Some local grocery stores are offering special hours to senior customers, who many experts identify as one group most vulnerable to COVID-19.

Dollar General and Zuppardo’s Family Supermarket were among the first stores that announced plans to dedicate shopping time to seniors. Now, many other grocery stores are following suit.

Many stores are also modifying regular hours to accommodate for more cleaning and stocking time, while also helping with social distancing efforts.

We’ve gathered a list of stores where seniors and other at-risk groups can shop for items during slower periods.
