The burger chain will be located on the corner of Canal and North Peters streets, at 333 Canal Street in Canal Place.

According to a press release, Shake Shack is “jazzed about New Orleans!”

Shake Shack is a modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and griddled flat-top dogs (no added hormones or antibiotics), fresh-made frozen custard, crispy crinkle-cut french fries, craft beer, wine and more.

The Canal Place Shack menu will feature all the classics, including the Shack Burger and hand-spun shakes. Plus, the chain says it will feature a selection of frozen custard concretes in collaboration with local food purveyors.

The 3,411 square foot building will feature an outdoor patio and ample seating for guests. In the brand’s commitment to green architecture and eco-friendly construction, the Canal Place location will be constructed with recycled and sustainable materials. Booths will be made from lumber and reclaimed bowling alley lanes will replace table tops.
