Crowds can gather for fireworks and fun when the Slidell Heritage Festival returns to Heritage Park on June 29. Organizers announced the lineup and activities for the annual North Shore festival.
The 22nd annual event features live music, fireworks, an extended kids area, along with food and drinks.
The entertainment lineup includes New Orleans pop cover band Bag of Donuts, Cajun fiddler and singer Amanda Shaw and Gulf Coast jazz, blues and funk band Unfazed Show & Band.
Unfazed Show & Band will hit the stage at 5:30 p.m. Amanda Shaw will follow behind at 7:30 p.m. Bag of Donuts will close out the fest from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Attendees can expect the firework show to start 9 p.m.
Kids are invited to enjoy the extended kids area complete with pony rides, an obstacle course, fire truck, water slides, face painting and more.
Gates will open at the Heritage Park in Slidell at 4 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Admission is free for children 3 and under. Parking is free.
